Iâm in someoneâs room. I donât know whoâs room Iâm in, but its plush and rich, the sheets feather-soft. My head throbs, and I want to stay in bed, but I know I canât be here. I try to lift myself, but my head swims with the movement, and I fall back on the cloud-like pillow.
Dragons. I remember seeing a huge, blue dragon.
Shit.
When I finally muster the strength and balance to stand, my legs wobble. I grab the column of the bed to steady myself, and my heart stops when I see five figures standing in the dark.
âYouâre finally awake. Graham didnât think it would work.â
Two figures emerge from the darkness, and I come face to face with Graham and Drake. Out of the brothers Iâve met, they have been the most amicable.
âHow much trouble am I in?â I scramble to ask.
Graham steps closer, his presence intimidating. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Drake come to stand behind me, his hands at my hips.
âYouâre in no trouble at all,â Drake whispers against the shell of my ear, making me shiver.
Graham steps even closer to me, one hand cupping my face while his other is placed gently on my chest, right over my heart, the thudding threatening to implode inside me.
My skin feels as if there are a million tiny sparks that go off simultaneously, delivering a deadly dose of fire that heats a part of me thatâs never been touched.
âStay here with us for a while,â Graham whispers against my forehead. I feel every part of his bodyâfrom his hard chest to his soft, firm lips.
Against my stomach is something hardâhot. I squeeze my eyes shut, unsure of how to react, because itâs obvious what it is.
I donât want them to stop, even though I know this is wrong⦠all wrong. I canât be attracted to the brothers, yet they seem intent on pushing me to the brink of passion.
My breath completely leaves me when I feel Drake against my backside. His head is dipped low enough for me to feel the prickly hairs from his roughened jaw against my cheek.
âI shouldnât be here,â I whisper, my words touching Grahamâs chin.
Both brothers chuckle, their chests heaving, warming my chest and my back. Iâm confused and aroused at the same time, which is definitely not a good combination for me. I donât understand their sudden interest in me, but itâs clear my body has woken up to their touch.
âYouâre right where we want you to be,â Graham whispers before turning my head with his fingers. âLook.â I am stunned by what I see. Itâs me, in a bed, prone and chained. But I donât look to be scared. Instead, I am patiently waiting. For what, I donât know. I try to focus on whatâs in front of me, but my head gets heavy, and I find I canât keep my eyes open any longer.
